You really cannot get lost on Glasgow’s subway system as it just goes around in two circles! Nearest subway stations to the apartment are Buchanan Street and St. Enoch station.
Use the Subway to get from Glasgow City Centre to the West End for places like Glasgow University, The Huntarian Museum, Botanic Gardens, Byres Road, Kelvingrove Museum and Park.
Taxis are also remarkably affordable, and arrive very quickly thanks to a central telephone booking system.
They can also be booked in advance for airport or train departures.
A taxi stand is also located nearby to the apartment building on Albion (though this only operates on a Friday and Saturday evenings from 11pm to 4am).

Glasgow can be accessed easily via the M8 motorway. However, like most cities these days, travel and car parking around the city centre can often be difficult and very costly.

If you fancy something active and easy to manage, then hiring a bike might be for you. Next bikes is a cycle hire scheme. There are 400 bikes available for hire at 31 locations across Glasgow.
